Keeping up with a blog has always proven to be difficult for me. And with my recent schedule consisting mostly of work functions and friend’s birthday parties, I haven’t had a ton of time to cook, shoot or post. But enough with the excuses. It’s time to get started again.
I’ve been spending a lot of time with a few of my coworkers. I love my day job and I love the people I work with and now I love our new happy hour spot. We have spent probably 7 or 8 days in the last several weeks hanging out at a little italian spot in Tribeca called Stuzzicheria. Directly across from my building on Church, this spot has only been open for about a year, but has managed to capture our hearts…and our money. They have pretty much the BEST happy hour ever. 10.00 quartinos of house wine and 1.00 snacks. And the snacks…oh the snacks. 1.00 meatballs, 1.00 crostinis which change daily, 1.00 chickpea fritters, 1.00 arancinos and 1.00 olive platers. I have probably gained 10 lbs. on meatballs and risotto balls alone. We’ve deemed this weekly after work activity booze and balls.
I haven’t tried any of their other dishes, but who needs to with this kind of happy hour!
